The Mount Maunganui Community Patrol is a volunteer-based organisation dedicated to keeping our community safe. Our team supports local residents, businesses, and visitors through regular patrols, community presence, and assistance during events and incidents.
As a Community Patrol Volunteer, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and connected environment in Mount Maunganui. Your involvement helps deter crime, support those in need, and strengthen community ties.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular vehicle patrols in designated areas
- Observe and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Assist community members in need, providing information and guidance as required
- Support local events, initiatives, and community engagement activities
- Maintain accurate records of patrol activities and incidents
- Collaborate with other volunteers to ensure effective patrol coverage
- Participate in training sessions and briefings to stay up-to-date on procedures and safety practices
