**Make a Meaningful Difference for Children and Families**

The Brain Injured Children Trust is seeking caring, compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers to support our childcare area during our annual Support & Wellness Clinic.

This special clinic supports children living with disabilities and additional needs, while also providing care and support for their siblings and families. Our volunteers play an important role in helping create a safe, welcoming and fun environment where children feel included, supported and cared for while parents attend clinic sessions.

Whether you enjoy arts and crafts, reading stories, playing games, helping children feel calm and comfortable, or simply bringing kindness and encouragement to families — we would love to hear from you.

No specialised experience is required — just a positive attitude, patience and a willingness to help.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

- Supporting children with disabilities and their siblings in the childcare area

- Helping facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities, games and play

- Providing a caring, inclusive and safe environment

- Assisting children who may need extra support or encouragement

- Working alongside a friendly and supportive volunteer team

- Helping families feel welcomed, supported and cared for throughout the clinic

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for volunteers who are:

- Warm, patient and compassionate

- Flexible and happy to help where needed

- Comfortable engaging with children of different ages and abilities

- Supportive and inclusive of children with additional needs

- Reliable team players with a positive attitude

Experience in childcare, education, disability support or healthcare is helpful, but definitely not essential. We welcome anyone with kindness, empathy and a willingness to help.

This is also a wonderful opportunity for students wanting experience in healthcare, education, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work or disability support.

**Volunteer Shifts Available**

We are very flexible and appreciate any time you can offer. Available shifts include:

- 8.30am – 1.00pm

- 1.30pm – 5.00pm

You are welcome to volunteer for one shift, one day, or multiple days — whatever works for you.
