Memory Walk volunteers needed

### Whakatāne Memory Walk *Sunday 20 September 2026 from 9am-midday*

We're holding another Memory Walk this year in loving memory of those who have passed and in support of all others affected by dementia mate wareware.

We are preparing for our Memory Walk this year to raise awareness and funds for those living with dementia mate wareware in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

We will need volunteers to register walkers, marshall, hand out walker packs, sell raffle tickets or BBQ sausages, and more on the day.

We'd love to hear from you if you have a morning free to help out - and we'd love it even more if you hold a current first aid certificate (we only need 2 or 3 of these on the day).

**Will suit those situated in or near Whakatāne** as it will require attending the event in person.

**About Us** We provide support services to people living with dementia mate wareware and their carers and whānau. Based in Whakatāne, our team works across the Eastern Bay of Plenty to empower and enable those affected by dementia. No one should have to face this journey alone—and that’s where you come in.
